Peru won windsurf world title

Nicolás Schreier and Sebastián Aguirre repeated at Brazil the world title in the Open and Under-17 categories.
The Peruvian team had a great performance after getting several silver and bronze medals at the South American Championship of Windsurf, Formula Experience mode, staged at Maragogi beach in Brazil between October 30 and November 3.
Nicolás Schreier and Sebastián Aguirre showed why they are windsurf world champions: they won with a big advantage in Open and Under-17 categories respectively, of the Windsurf South American Championship.
In the Master category (older than 35), Ricardo Cano got the second place. In the Under-20 category, Santiago Canseco and Wilfredo Blondet took the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
In the Under-17 category there was an all-Peruvian podium: Sebastián Aguirre, Matas Canseco and Ernesto Porcari took the gold, silver and bronze, respectively.
In the Ladies category, Carolina Butrich and Alexandra Vernal got silver and bronze.
Finally, the Peruvian team took home the Nations Cup, thanks to the best combined results from the different categories.
